Final Stretch 2-8.png

Final Stretch PEMF was started by Jennifer Vickers Kelly to provide treatment for both human and equine athletes. Her own personal experiences with PEMF led her to become a certified practitioner to help those recovering from injuries and maintain overall health and happiness.

Follow the Final Stretch journey and get to know Jennifer by visiting our Facebook page below.

PEMF

What is it?

PEMF is "subthreshold, low-power, low-frequency electromagnetic waveform (equivalently described as an electromagnetic pulse-form) specifically designed to target limbic cells in the brain" (NCBI, NLM, NIH)

What happens during a session?

"The blood oxygen is increased, the lymphatic system is activated, and acupuncture points are stimulated. This process reduces pain and inflammation and promotes overall health. The idea of PEMF is to help relieve inflammation. Pain is thought to be caused by inflammation, if we can relieve the pain and swelling, the body can begin to recover naturally." (Magnawave)

Who can it be used on?

Any human or animal without a battery implanted device is a candidate for PEMF.

What should I expect after my horses first session?

An overall sense of well-being is usually experienced after using PEMF, however some horses may experience some fatigue as their body is ridding itself of toxins. This is why it is of the upmost importance that they are provided plenty of fluids and rest post-pulse.

How can Final Stretch help me?

  • Promote Relaxation and Stress Reduction

  • Pain Management

  • Improve Circulation

  • Accelerate Recovery

  • Reduce Inflammation and Soreness

  • Support Joint and Muscle Health

  • Enhance Performance

  • Support Hoof Health

  • Muscle Relaxation

  • Improve GI Complications

In my own personal experiences with PEMF:

  • I have healed my own broken ankle in 4 weeks with weekly sessions.

  • Treated a horse with crushed withers & kissing spine who could then maintain a riding career with regular PEMF sessions.

  • Loosened up a body sore OTTB and help prevent injecting with regular sessions (my current competition horse).

  • Helped identify the place of soreness of my horse to know where to xray.

  • Helped soreness and recovery from a sprained knee on myself.

Ticket to Ride - 'Fudge'

"Fudge suffers from both high and low ringbone. The addition of PEMF to her treatment plan has helped take her from a pasture pet to a sport horse again."

Wrecking Chaos - 'Chaos'

"PEMF has helped Chaos become more comfortable and less sore as she is learning to stretch and carry herself properly. It also helps her legs after she does something stupid in the pasture."
